CMT composite mobile communication system, jointly developed by the Information Engineering College of the PLA Information Engineering University and Huanyu Mobile Technology Co., Ltd., recently passed technical appraisement in Dalian, Liaoning Province. The appraisement committee, made up of experts such as academicians Jin Yilian and Li Lemin, held that the CMT composite mobile communication system was the first IP-based CDMA2000 system in China. With high research starting point, it is new and original in design, sophisticated in technology and has made major innovation in structure. The overall technological level of the said communication system is on a par with that of the world's advanced level and has great potential for future application.
