On January 18, the PLA General Logistics Department (GLD) held a tea party for retired officers to usher in the Spring Festival. Liao Xilong, member of the Central Military Commission and director of the PLA General Logistics Department, gathered joyfully together with more than 1,500 retired officers, and officers and men on active duty at the PLA General Logistics Department Auditorium to see the New Year in and wish each other a happy and prosperous new year. At the party, Liao Xilong, on behalf of the Party Committee and leadership of the PLA General Logistics Department, paid high tribute and extended festive greetings to all retired officers, experts and professors, and all the officers and men, staff members of the PLA General Logistics Department and their families.
On January 17, retired officers of the PLA General Armaments Department (GAD) in Beijing gathered together to celebrate the New Year. They chatted cheerfully about the beautiful future and wished each other a happy new year. Li Jinai, member of the Central Military Commission and director of the PLA General Armaments Department extended festive greetings and good wishes to all retired officers on behalf of the Party Committee and leadership of the PLA General Armaments Department.
