Recently, the logistics department of the air force under the Chengdu Military Area Command raised millions of yuan to procure electric blankets, warm quilts and cotton mats/paddings to officers and men stationing in Tibet. Besides, they also distributed new leather coats, leather mattresses and felt cushions, and allocated more than one hundred sets of winter prevention materials, which were sent to the snowy plateau in time, to make the officers and men of the frontier defense army well-prepared for the winter.
