Armored vehicles plunged into the "enemy" battlefields and shelled targets accurately. This was an exciting scene in a training exercise of a division in the Guangzhou Military Area Command (MAC). This armored division greatly boosted its combat effectiveness by following strategic guidelines of the Central Military Commission in a new era and adhering to the new Outlines of Military Training and Evaluation. Over the past two years, this division achieved more than 100 training targets on training grounds and more than 30 training methods were tested and verified in live operational training.
