Recently, at the training ground of a unit under the Guangxi Provincial Military Command, the reporter noticed that recruits were quite relaxed in their apparatus training. Political Commissar Tang Shengcheng told the reporter that this was due to timely in place of psychological services.
In the light of the fact that most recruits are nervous and scared of difficulties during initial stage of their training, from the very beginning of training, the unit introduced regular psychological education into training program to timely remove and eliminate psychological pressures of recruits by way of psychological guidance, demonstration and encouragement and psychological adjustment. The unit has now established a psychological guidance room at the recruit camp and set up a psychological consultation hotline. Besides, the unit has also bought more than 40 different kinds of books on psychological knowledge for recruits to read so that they can find solutions themselves according to their own psychological pressures.
