In late December last year, officers at regiment level or above of a brigade stationed in Tibet donated money and padded clothes to 13 students of exceptionally poor families in a local elementary school. Five years ago, the brigade leaders learned that there were many school dropouts in their locality. In order to help them to return to school, the brigade Party committee called on each officer at regiment level and above to help one student of exceptionally poor family to finish their schooling. In the past five years, they have donated not only money for tuition and other study expenses, but also clothes for those students. In addition, they also make irregular calls to help these students with their lessons.
