Tongliao Forest Detachment of the Armed Police Force has been focusing on the characteristics and regular patterns of fire prevention and fire extinguishing of the forest, making full use of the opportunities of on-the-spot fire extinguishing, and has continuously improved its capability in dealing with unexpected incidents, realizing the integration of logistics support.

　　The detachment has been protecting the forest zone year in and year out and is responsible for fire prevention and extinguishing tasks of the forest. They have explored in mountainous and forest regions to improve the flexibility and mobility of logistics support in line with the complex characteristics of region and dense jungle. Besides, they have also enhanced their study on and upgrade of fire prevention and fire extinguishing technologies, tactics and equipment, thus improving the scientific content of forest fire prevention and conflagration control capability.

　　In order to elevate the logistics support capability, they often organize logistics emergency support detachment to experience the life in high mountains and dense forests, trying to find out how to ensure the timely and smooth transportation of goods and materials to the frontline positions. The detachment has summed up the experience on logistics support for fire extinguishing in mountainous regions as well as material support and the method of using these materials during fire prevention and fire extinguishing, thus successfully improving the fire extinguishing efficiency of the troops. In view of the difficult environmental conditions, they succeeded in identifying the effective way of breaking simple paths, building simple-structured bridges in transporting many important and portable materials to the frontline positions. Moreover, they have also adopted the method of combining the helicopter airdrop with manpower transportation, improving the timely supplying of logistics materials as well as the transportation efficiency.
