Recently, the Military Representative Office (MRO) stationed at the Harbin Railway Bureau conducted the impact test for military dangerous articles, and through which it has obtained sufficient data for boosting its railway support capability.

　　In recent years, in order to meet the requirements of modernization drive of our army and in response to railway development, the representative office has carried out military trainings featuring new technology. It adopts various forms to improve the scientific and technical quality and practical working ability of its staff in light of wartime need. At the same time, it also makes efforts to tackle key technical problems in light of its practical conditions. As there were no loading criterions for many new products from military industrial enterprises in the past two years, the office took the initiative to readjust loading plans for 80 batches of goods according to specific circumstances, which had not only ensured transportation security, but also saved railway transportation power and nearly one million yuan of national defense transport cost. Besides, the office worked in close cooperation with related universities and research institutes to carry out a series of researches and tests on feasibility study of transporting military goods with newly invented flatbed car, with the support and guidance of the Military Communications Department of the PLA General Logistics Department. The success of the research has opened a new way for boosting railway transport support capability of military goods both at wartime and peacetime.
