Recently, when the higher level conducted the year-end inspection on a submarine chaser group, it found that on the dinning tables, dishes for officers and men had been increased both in variety and quantity and vegetables were fresher. This new change has been brought about as a result of the efforts made by the group in keeping pace with times to develop new socialized support method.

　 The said group stations on a remote island, which is far away from the mainland, thus it is very difficult to bring regular supply to the group, especially in summer. In the past, during the last few days of the week, officers and men had to make do with rotten vegetables as the group could only get supply once a week, for which officers and men had complained many times. After studying the important thought of "Three Represents", the Party committee members of the group realized that things which concerned the welfare of the officers and men should be the starting point and goal of the Party committee. With this in mind, the group got contact with a local supermarket, and asked the supermarket to purchase vegetables in line with the receipt made out by the group and provide fresh vegetables to the group every three days so as to ensure the regular supply of clean and fresh vegetables.

　　Now, whenever the meals are mentioned, officers and men in the group would hold their thumbs up in approval and said: "With such good meals, we can work harder than before."
