PLA's seventh batch of women pilots has completed its transition training for new planes and acquired the skills of piloting planes under complicated weather conditions. On the afternoon of December 7, these women pilots took off with their planes from a military airport of an air force transportation division under the Guangzhou Military Area Command.
These pilots are the second group of female pilots who have got bachelor's degrees in military science. Two years ago, after they graduated from aviation schools, they were assigned to the division and they studied and practiced flying skills diligently. In October this year, they embraced top three rankings in aviation knowledge, emergency operations and regulation understanding assessments. For their quicker acquisition of flying skills and fighting powers, strict training programs were conducted to practice their skills. After two years of intense and hard training, they are now able to fly all required flights. Until now, they each have flied more than 110 hours and started their low altitude flying training.
