At 4:30 p.m. yesterday, 317 Beijing native new soldiers left the Beijing West Railway Station for their barracks on K183 train. At the same time, transportation of new soldiers this winter has entered its full swing all over the country. Before this, transportation of new soldiers to Tibet and Xinjiang autonomous regions was completed ahead of time.

　　According to the director of the Military Representative Office of Beijing Railway Bureau, in recent years, they have set up an effective system of transporting new soldiers with railway transportation as the primary means supplemented by waterway, highway as well as air transportation. At present, new soldiers are transported on ordinary passenger trains. It not only makes full use of the existing railroad resources, but also makes it more comfortable for the new recruits. What's more, it effectively avoids the negative impact on daily passenger transportation by railway.
