In early November, a unit under the Jinan Military Area Command conducted an end-of-the-year combined tactical exercise aiming at boosting information handling capability of its commanders at various levels. During the exercise, the unit effectively combined cultivation of　commanders' capability in information gathering and informationized equipment operation with cultivation of commanding capability of these commanders, and put in practice the fighting methods they had created. Through the exercise, the field command capability of the commanders was greatly boosted. The picture shows commanding personnel of the unit transmitting combat order in the field by means of computer.
