A general communication station of the Beijing Military Area Command has been energetically engaged in exploring for new approaches in ensuring communication support under the situation of modern war. As a result, a good number of its achievements in scientific research have been promoted throughout the armed forces. In addition, it has also successfully fulfilled scores of major communication support missions. The picture shows that members of the station are connecting optical cables swiftly out in the field.
