The results showed that all the examinees were able to apply information technology skillfully and realized interworking and interconnecting, information sharing and synchronized operation of command and action in all examination subjects.

For training purpose, the division also established more than 10 training databases for armored corps, communication corps, artillery corps and reconnaissance force etc. and prepared over 300 on-line simulation drill subjects so as to ensure that officers and men have access to adequate training contents everyday. As far as specialized training and tactical training were concerned, the division relied on the multi-function simulating confrontation training centers and automatic field operational command system at division and regiment levels, to carried out command-and-staff confrontation simulation exercise with specialized elements, which included network information offensive and defensive exercise, counterattacking computer virus, reconnaissance and counter-reconnaissance, electromagnetism interference and anti-interference, "soft strike and hard strike", and psychological warfare with the aim of boosting officers' commanding and coordination capability, and the ability to work out strategy and tactics in close-to-real-combat environment of information warfare.
