In early winter, a brigade stationed in the Tibet Autonomous Region carried out, for the first time, a psychological warfare confrontation drill under close to real war conditions in the freezing mountain area over 4,000 meters above sea level. They tried to jam the "Blue Army" in various ways by using all kinds of psychological warfare equipment, and eventually weakened the battle effectiveness of the adversary. More than 10 fighting methods applied to psychological warfare passed test in the drill, showing that the brigade has basically obtained the psychological warfare offense-defense capabilities.

　　During the drill, a number of new psychological warfare equipment designed to be used on plateau and frigid mountain areas such as multi-function psychological warfare vehicle, portable psychological warfare case and helmet-type megaphone showed their mighty power. After crossing the fire barrier, experiencing high platform upside-down hanging, running over by vehicle, crossing the poison gas chamber, carrying out battle field counterespionage, the well-trained officers and men launched psychological warfare confrontation promptly. This drill was the first psychological warfare confrontation with actual troops on plateau by the PLA.
