On November 14, the officers and men of an anti-aircraft brigade of the Guangzhou Military Area Command performed a entirely new program to the representatives attending the psychological service symposium of the Guangzhou Military Area Command: at the psychological behavior training center that simulates actual battlefield environment, the officers and men calmly completed several highly difficult movements, such as 3-meter platform backward somersault and 5-meter platform jump; on the large training ground, the officers and men were performing a set of self-invented free-standing exercise for psychological readjustment.

　　A psychological quality survey conducted recently indicated that the overall psychological quality of the officers and men of the brigade was good. However, a few soldiers were not stable psychologically. Some felt disappointed or painful because their personnel expectations could not be fulfilled, and some felt depressed due to family misfortune or disappointment in love or marriage. In the light of above-mentioned situation, the brigade combined war preparation training closely with psychological training and constantly tempered the will power, courage and endurance of the officers and men by means of battlefield simulation and enhancement of training intensity and difficulty. In addition, the brigade also organized its officers and men to make self-assessment of their intelligent potential and psychological mutual aid activities such as "drawing a picture for oneself", "mutual praise" so as to enable officers and men to have a correct assessment of themselves and build up self confidence.

　　Through these training, adaptability, self-control power, bearing capacity and psychological readjustment capability of the officers and men have been greatly improved, which has in turn boosted combat effectiveness of the brigade.
