Under the guidance of professional department of the higher level, a POL depot of the Guangzhou Military Area Command, has succeeded in establishing a digital safety management system consisting of 4 sub-systems through introduction of key technologies and integration of its existing resources. These subsystems are: oil tank liquid state monitoring system, oil thickness monitoring and alarm system, and closed-circuit television monitoring system. Today officers and men can know the overall situation of the depot without having to leave their office. This has not only reduced labor intensity of officer and men, but also increased safety coefficient and facilitated transformation of safety management of the depot from relying on experience to scientific and systematic management.
