In the golden fall, the troops stationing in Dalian started a modern 3D "battle": the battle planes of the "red army" launched an attack on the "blue army" with precision strike, the fleets tried to head off the landing enemy with heavy fire….This is an exercise showing the troops stationing in Dalian are seeking after new model of joint tactics training and received positive confirmation from the general headquarters/departments.

　　Since early this year, combining the experimental mission of regional coordinated operation and earnestly analyzing the features and law of recent regional wars, the troops in Dalian have realized that tactics scale joint operation had became more and more common. How to find an efficient and effective way of joint exercise is an important subject to organize a regional coordinated operation. Therefore, in line with the related requirements of Regulations on Military Training, they organized various branches under division level to conduct joint training and joint operation centering on special missions and unified tactics subjects.

　　In order to successfully implement the new joint training model and realize the objectives of coordination of the air force, the army and the navy and intensive training, the troops have carried out theory discussions to eliminate lopsided understanding such as joint operation only existing in joint operations involving different services instead of in tactics and unified the understanding on joint training on tactics facets. On the basis of this, they also organized training to enrich experience and knowledge of the staff from various organs. With a lot of quantity of preparation, centering on the same tactics subject, by the related army, air force and navy troops, they organized the organs of the headquarters to implement operation subject commanding exercise by way of joint directing, joint commanding and joint operation. They paid attention to study various questions arising in the joint exercise so as to provide joint operation opportunity for commanders and strengthen the subject awareness of the troops to improve the capabilities of various branches in coordination.
