Hou Bin, a second-class noncommissiond officer (NCO) of a maintenance station of an anti-aircraft artillery regiment in the Shenyang Military Area Command, recently developed a comprehensive field emergency repair support system. The system, which can provide technical support for maintenance staff in field exercise in a faraway place, has passed the appraisal of experts.

　　The system realizes real time transmission of images and sharing of battlefield information through using wireless image transmission methods. Together with large-scale maintenance parameters database and computer virtual devices, it is able to carry out remote diagnoses and repairs of field operation equipment.
