Regarding giving service on the plateau and contributing to the frontier defense as its most important responsibilities, a signal repair shop of the Chengdu Military Area Command has repaired more than 300 signal facilities for units that need its support. To do that, they have to cross the snow mountains and grasslands, and so far they have travelled over 10,000 kilometers. In the picture, they are repairing the signal equipment for units stationing in Lhasa.
