At the beginning of August, a coordinated land-air communication support exercise was conducted in the suburb of Beijing.

　　In the exercise, a communication regiment of the air force of the Beijing Military Area Command transferred signals to the commanding center constantly and the new equipment passed test in the anti-jamming, anti-strike and anti-damage exercise.

　　Two years ago, the regiment was equipped with high-tech equipment such as mechanized communication van in order to realize coordinated and mechanized communication capability. Targeting at key drill subjects, the Party committee of the regiment made all kinds of mechanized communication support preplan to solve the bottle neck problems restricting the development of support. They used network to organize joint battle communication rehearsal, set up real battle background, simulate the battle environment and probe into a series of new drill methods. At the same time, they take opportunity of key exercises to upgrade the coordinated support capability. For two years, they've organized nearly 30 joint battles and joint drills, which upgrade the mechanized support and the capability of new equipment a great deal.
