In the past, as there's no rapid malfunction test equipment, failure of overdue missiles affected the drills course directly. Now, by using a new kind of missile intelligent malfunction test system, soldiers can test over thousands of missile parts in only 4 minutes. This system was developed by the Changsha Military Representative Bureau of the PLA General Armaments Department.

　　Judging which missile needs special maintenance and which should be send for overhaul is a complex and arduous work. Aiming at the difficulty of the maintenance of overdue missiles and on the basis of the creation of rapid maintenance model, the Changsha Military Representative Bureau established a Missile Storage and Security Research Team. By using modern technology, the team has developed general missile tester, micro-circuit tester, malfunction diagnosis system, etc. The adoption of these technologies simplified the repairing procedure and upgraded the rapid self-maintenance ability of the army.
