The PLA Daily Online (English) is a product of the PLA Daily, a newspaper reflecting the views of the Military Commission of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and the Central Military Commission of the People's Republic of China. PLA Daily was founded on January 1, 1956, under the leadership of the General Political Department of the Chinese People's Liberation Army.

　　The PLA Daily Online (English) commits itself on covering major events about the Communist Party of China, the Army and the nation in general, as well as activities of chairman and other leaders of the Central Military Commission.
