The 13th National People's Congress (NPC), the top legislature of China, will start its second session at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing at 9:00 a.m. BJT (0100GMT) on Tuesday.
Premier Li Keqiang will deliver a report on the government's work during the opening meeting.
NPC deputies will examine a report on the implementation of the 2018 plan for national economic and social development, and on the 2019 draft plan for national economic and social development.
The deputies will also examine a report on the implementation of the central and local budgets for 2018, and on the draft plan of central and local budgets for 2019.
